FAQs

Clear answers before we start.

Everything clients usually ask about quotes, payments, timelines, preparation, finishes and handover.

Commercial Painting

Commercial Painting

Depending on access and the size of the scope, work can be planned in zones, outside peak periods or during agreed closures. Share your operating hours, public routes, equipment restrictions and return-to-service deadline so the quotation can reflect the real logistics.
Provide the approved brand reference and identify which surfaces use each colour. We recommend physical samples on the actual substrate before full application. Colour appearance can vary by product, sheen and lighting, so a written sample approval is useful where exact brand presentation matters.
Exterior Painting

Exterior Painting

Exterior walls should be checked for weak paint, cracks, algae or dirt, failed joints and signs of water entry. Access and weather conditions also matter. The surface is cleaned and corrected as agreed, then the coating system is selected for the substrate and exposure. Painting over an active leak is not a durable repair.
Exterior application should follow the product instructions and suitable weather conditions. Rain, wet walls and high moisture can interrupt preparation or coating. The programme should include weather allowance, and the team should pause rather than trap moisture or risk a failed finish.
General Painting Services

General Painting Services

We handle interior and exterior painting, repainting, surface preparation, wall texture work, decorative finishes, feature walls and selected protective coating work for homes and business premises. The final scope is confirmed after we understand the surface condition, access, preferred finish and service area.
Yes. We can plan work for occupied homes, new apartments, offices, shops, schools, hospitality spaces and other suitable properties. Residential and commercial projects are scheduled differently, so tell us about opening hours, occupants, restricted areas and any date by which the space must return to use.
Yes. The public Projects and Galleries pages contain curated, privacy-reviewed photographs of completed and near-completion work. Exact addresses and client identities are not published. You can share a project link with another decision maker or use it to explain the finish direction you prefer.

Protection is planned as part of the work. Movable items may be relocated, larger furniture grouped and covered, floors protected and adjoining fittings masked where appropriate. Tell us about fragile, valuable or fixed items during the inspection so responsibility and access are clear before work begins.
Often yes, provided the work can be phased safely and the occupants can stay clear of active areas. We agree room access, furniture movement, ventilation and cleanup in advance. Homes with children, older people, respiratory sensitivity or pets may need additional planning or temporary relocation from the active zone.
Minor filling and surface correction can be included after inspection. Recurring, widening or structural cracks and active moisture may need a separate specialist repair before decoration. The quotation should distinguish routine paint preparation from building repairs that are outside the painting scope.
Maintenance and Aftercare

Maintenance and Aftercare

Allow the coating to cure according to the product guidance before washing. Use a soft cloth and a mild method suitable for the paint finish, testing a hidden area first. Aggressive scrubbing and strong chemicals can polish, discolour or remove some coatings.
Contact us promptly with the project reference, a clear description and photographs. We first determine whether the issue relates to the agreed workmanship, an underlying building defect, moisture, impact, cleaning or a later change to the surface. Any correction is then handled according to the written project terms rather than an assumed blanket warranty.
Any workmanship cover must be stated in the accepted quotation or contract, including its period, scope and exclusions. Paint failure caused by active leaks, structural movement, impact, unauthorised repairs or unsuitable cleaning may fall outside that cover. Ask for the applicable terms before approving the project.
Paint Materials

Paint Materials

Yes. We consider the room lighting, floor and fixed finishes, traffic, cleaning needs and the appearance you want. Physical samples should be viewed in the actual space because phone screens and shop lighting can misrepresent colour. Final colour and product approval remains with the client.
The quotation can state whether materials are supplied by Procity, supplied by the client or handled as a shared arrangement. Where the client buys materials, we can provide the agreed product description and estimated quantity. Any substitution should be discussed before purchase because different products may have different preparation and coverage requirements.
Primer is selected according to the surface and coating system. New plaster, repaired patches, stains, glossy old coatings and some exterior surfaces may have different needs. We do not treat one primer as a universal solution, and we explain the preparation included in the agreed scope.
Payment and Invoices

Payment and Invoices

Part payment may be available when it is included in the accepted quotation or invoice. The payment stages, minimum amount and outstanding balance remain visible on the invoice. A part payment does not change the total scope unless a written variation is agreed.
Invoices can be shared through the agreed contact channel. A public payment link is unique to the invoice and should not be posted openly. Check the invoice number, business details, amount and balance before paying, and contact Procity through the official website details if anything looks unfamiliar.
A receipt can be issued after the payment has been recorded and verified. Online gateway payments may require provider verification before the invoice and receipt status changes. For a transfer, use the reference requested and share evidence only through the approved channel if the admin team asks for it.
The system may send reminders for an unpaid or partly paid invoice according to the configured schedule and communication settings. A part-payment reminder should show the outstanding balance rather than request the full total again. Fully paid, void or cancelled invoices should not continue receiving payment reminders.
Project Timeline

Project Timeline

Timing depends on the number and size of surfaces, their condition, access, drying requirements, weather for exterior work and whether the property remains occupied. After inspection we can propose a sequence and practical time range. Rushing coat times or unresolved repairs can weaken the finish, so the programme must allow preparation and drying.
Yes. Phasing can keep parts of a home or business available while other areas are prepared and painted. The agreed sequence should account for furniture movement, safe access, dust control, drying and daily cleanup. A phased programme may affect the total duration and should be reflected in the quote.
Quotation and Inspection

Quotation and Inspection

Use the contact page or WhatsApp link and provide your broad service area, property type, rooms or elevations involved, current wall condition, preferred colours or finish, and target timing. Photographs help with the initial discussion, but a site inspection may still be required before the final scope and price are confirmed.
An inspection is recommended where wall condition, moisture, access, repairs or measurements cannot be confirmed from the information supplied. The inspection helps identify preparation work and reduces avoidable variations. Straightforward scopes may first receive a provisional estimate that clearly states what still needs confirmation.
A clear quotation should identify the surfaces and rooms included, preparation assumptions, paint or finish system where known, protection and cleanup, price, payment stages, validity period and any exclusions. Compare quotations by scope as well as total price because two figures may not include the same preparation or materials.
Service Areas

Service Areas

Yes, projects can be discussed for Lagos, Osun and other South West Nigeria service areas subject to scope, timing and logistics. The public portfolio uses broad area labels for privacy. Send the town or broad area during your enquiry and we will confirm whether the project can be scheduled.
We deliberately avoid publishing a client name, street, estate, house number or precise workplace. Labels such as Ilorin service area, Lagos service area or Osogbo service area help visitors understand general coverage without identifying a private property.
