Our Process

1. Enquiry and initial brief

Tell us the broad service area, property type, rooms or elevations involved, current wall condition and target timing. Photographs are helpful for an initial review, but they may not reveal moisture, adhesion or access conditions.

2. Inspection and scope

Where required, we inspect the surfaces, take measurements and discuss colours, sheen, protection and access. We separate routine paint preparation from repairs that need another trade or a revised scope.

3. Written quotation

The quotation identifies the included areas, preparation assumptions, finish direction, price, payment terms, validity period and exclusions. If the scope changes after acceptance, the variation should be agreed before extra work proceeds.

4. Colour and material approval

Colours are checked against flooring, ceilings, joinery, fixed fittings and light. Product and sheen choices are matched to the surface and cleaning needs. Physical samples in the actual room are preferable to approval from a screen.

5. Protection and preparation

Furniture and adjoining surfaces are protected as agreed. Unsound coatings, dust, suitable cracks and repairs are treated before the decorative coats begin. Primer is selected for a purpose rather than applied or omitted automatically.

6. Controlled application

The work follows an agreed room or elevation sequence. Coat and drying guidance is respected, edges are checked and active areas are kept organised. Exterior work is adjusted for weather where necessary.

7. Review and touch-ups

The finish is reviewed under useful lighting. Corners, trims, repairs and colour transitions are checked before coverings are removed. Issues found during the work are corrected before final handover where they fall within the agreed scope.

8. Cleanup and handover

The team removes work coverings and clears project waste as agreed. The completed scope is reviewed with the client, and basic care guidance is provided for the selected finish.
